The Strip

ROCKO and RIVER are unlikely roommates, sharing an apartment together, and building a friendship through life and laughter. Rocko's over-the-top personality is the foil to River's quiet, contemplative demeanor.

Rocko is a trim but muscular athlete, and a personal trainer at a gym. While not the sharpest tool in the shed, Rocko helps keep River grounded in reality by showing him how to enjoy life's many good things on a simpler level. Rocko is no stranger to a good time, but is also a big teddy bear at heart.

River is a computer support technician by trade but truly a hippy at heart, and has taken the path of meditation, oneness, and enlightenment as a way to better understand life. River helps Rocko think more deeply about things, but also uses Rocko as a sort of unwitting subject to see how well his philosophies play out in real life. He can be a little “woo-woo” at times, occasionally dabbling in Astrology, Tarot, and other New Age practices, but mostly enjoys spending quality time with people, doting on his cats, and getting into nature.
